Does the Bible mention dinosaurs?
Explanation: The word dinosaur is not found in the 1611 King James Version of the Bible. This is to be expected since the term was not invented until 18th century. It is possible that the term translated dragon in Scripture refers to dinosaurs. There are two creatures mentioned in the Book of Job, the behemoth and the leviathan, that may be actual dinosaurs. However this identification is disputed. The Bible also describes a sea creature called the Leviathan. Its identity is also grounds for much speculation.
Reference: Leviathan has several attributes according to Job chapter 41, Psalm 104:25,26 and Isaiah 27:1 many say dinosaurs were wiped out during the flood, however according to the bible the Leviathan was a sea creatures.
Genesis 1:24–27 says that all animals were created the same day God created man. We don't know exactly when dinosaurs became extinct, nor exactly why, but it is plausible that some existed during Job's time. It seems these animals were still alive at the time of King David. Psalm 104 says they played where the ships go to and fro. This was probably in the Mediterranean Sea
