What is considered marriage in God's eyes?
Explanation: In Malachi 2:14, Marriage is described as is a holy covenant before God, one witnessed and sealed by Him. This is why it is referred too as Holy Matrimony.A commitment is a civil agreement. A covenant is religious by nature and should be presided over by a religious official. Scripture is clear about marriage being a holy and divinely established covenant. Romans 13:1-2 makes it equally clear about our obligation to honor and obey the laws of our earthly governments, which are also divinely established authorities.
References: Malachi 2:14 (1.) In order to give marriage proper honor and to render the proper respect to the governing authorities, legal marriage is both required and appropriate. (Legal Marriage License)
(2.) Marriage can only be between a man and a woman. (see Matthew 19, Genesis 2:24)
(3.) Marriage is to be witnessed. Because marriage is a covenant it must be witnessed by at least two or three people. This idea is confirmed in Matthew 18:16, Ruth 4:9-12.
(4.) As Christians we must recognizes the covenant nature of marriage by sanctioning clergy to perform the marriage ceremony
In Matthew 19:5, Jesus adds, “So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Taking all into account, the Bible clearly shows that an official marriage ceremony governed by clergy and sealed by God is entering into marriage appropriately. For Christians, marriage goes beyond the earthly covenant also, as a divine picture of the relationship between Christ and his Bride, the Church. It is a spiritual representation of our relationship with God. This is reflected in Research which shows Cohabiting couples report lower levels of satisfaction in the relationship than married couples. They are not, nor cannot, be on par with married couples.

Who Is Allowed to Take Communion?
Explanation: Baptism Precedes Communion- Communion is also something of a pledge of renewed trust in Christ and obedience to him (which is one reason why Paul warns against eating or drinking unworthily in 1 Corinthians 1:27)
Note: It would be pretense for someone to take communion when they have not even taken the first step of obedience to Jesus in baptism.
Reference: 1 Corinthians 1:27
What is God's penalty for dishonoring your father or mother?
Explanation: It is one of the ten commandments and the only one with promise, (long life). We can dishonor our parents through stubbornness, mocking, scorning, angrily talking back to them, yelling, cussing them, name calling, which is violence. This verse soberly warns that children (regardless of age) who treat their parents lightly or contemptuously, who pay them and their word no heed, are headed for failure that may include death. They are putting themselves "behind the eight-ball" by developing bad habits of disregard of those who are more experienced and wiser. (Parents being right or wrong, good or bad, does not negate our responsibility to honor them.)
These will eventually be punished by death, shame, disgrace, darkness of understanding (ignorance), and destruction. A lamp puts forth light, and light is a biblical symbol of truth. Therefore, God is in reality speaking of having correct guidance and direction. He is saying that if children curse their parents, the death penalty may not be not executed, but following right on the heels of this, God says He will remove the guidance that He would ordinarily make available. Without God's guidance death prevails. This imagery comes close to the punishment that is reserved for demons—to be able to see and desire greatly but to be able to do nothing about it.
